Freedom in commitment. Freedom in consistency. Maturing the masculine requires self created boundaries. A container, a structure for which the wild woman, the free spirit can thrive. Without clear definition I am lost amongst the swirl of emotional tides. Lost in the complexity of a dualistic human experience. The “or’s” swarming around me like bees to a hive. Choose this or that, black or white. The options to consider are endlessly abound, perspectives become my crutch and the way out. Cutting like a knife, the masculine must decide, for I cannot thrive living an ambiguous life. For some, that is their freedom, to drift deeper with the ocean’s tides. Human emotion is a familiar constant for navigating life. I see this in my mother, the gift for surrendering to the flow; whereas in my father exists an all-consuming burden to let go. As the child born to parents such as these, I can grasp the traits of the masculine and feminine that live on inside of me. What is more so even, and something of worth to consider, is the universal concepts of energy are woven strongly into the picture. Who I am, made from the blood and bone of my earth family, who I am, sewn threads of the collective species, who I am, everything that has come before me, who I am, everything of potential I yearn to be. I am a universal puzzle piece and I am the puzzle already laid complete. With so much to consider, I don’t question these contemplations, rather, I weave these stories together to help me clarify my decisions. To fulfill the pinnacle of thought I must traverse the valleys and the peaks to arrive at a semblance of balance that satiates me.

I opened this dialogue with the desire to live free. Coming to understand freedom is molding into rhythm some degree of consistency. What is my constant? What pulses inside of me? What do I offer the altar so that I may grow in purpose and in harmony?

Teach. Offer up your past as lessons not yet learned by some, give yourself freedom by passing the torch along. Offer up yourself into the burning fire of change, transmuting insecurities into the burning flame.

The time has come to complete the cycle of the seeker, handing over wisdom to the next fire keeper.
